When Juggling Goes Viral

Evolution of Viral Video

A few years ago I was showcasing at the AEP Worldwide Conference and I was lucky enough to sit in on a few panel discussions. One of which was lead by Internet Sensation Judson Laipply who if you don't know was one of the first performers to crush it on YouTube and go viral. His "Evolution of Dance" video which to date has more than 293 million views has become a cult classic.

Judson was asked the question "What is the best thing a performer can do to grow?" and his response was simple yet extremely brilliant. He said "I think it is important to stay current." He went on to explain that he constantly updates his Evolution of Dance when he performs it now as part of his speaking engagements to include new moves to new songs that seem to come out everyday.

Staying current is such a powerful tool in any entertainers arsenal. It has the immediate connection to the audience because you are capitalizing off of what the audience has been inundated with for the past few months, weeks, or days. A song that they hear everyday on the radio really resonates with them when used in different capacities. People love familarity it makes them comfortable, eases stress and puts them in a relaxed state.

When a juggler is having a bit of success going viral it really makes me feel good. Juggling is such an awesome medium of entertainment that is constantly being underrated and sidelined by the big "Talent" television shows. So when an entertainer can connect with thousands, or millions of people through a video it gives me as a juggler myself a chance to live vicariously through them.

Here is a video from a fellow comedy juggler named Michael Karas. He has simply infused an awesome juggling routine to an immensly popular song "Watch Me" by Silento.

Good job on staying current Michael, and hopefully this leads to many bookings and a ton of qualified leads for future events.

Juggling is a perfect way to entertain your guests during long meetings, awards ceremonies, between speakers, at trade shows and much more. If you are looking for a high energy, family friendly comedy juggler that gets your guests up on their feet and into the show, give Bryan Dangerous a shout now.
